Flax Farm ground linseed  and Flax Farm cold-pressed linseed (flax seed) oil can be added to any smoothie; it makes a smoothie into a real meal, filling and sustaining, slow release and full of omega-3, protein, lovely lignans and of course really good for your digestion. A great way to start the day.

Smoothies are a great way of enjoying linseed for the whole family. Brimming with omega-3 and tummy friendly fibre.

Ingredients
  

  • 30 ml Flax Farm cold-pressed linseed oil
  • 25 g Flax Farm ground linseed
  • 1 Small Banana or stoned peach or nectarine
  • 250 ml orange juice
  • 60 g raspberries or other berries fresh or frozen (optional).
  • 100 g natural yoghurt

Method
 

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.

Notes

Optional extras: 100g tofu, a slice of fresh ginger, a handful of spinach leaves, cinnamon powder or vanilla extract.
