Naturally soothing shaving gel recipe

Shaving can really upset your skin and so can many shop-bought shaving creams, even hypoallergenic creams and gels can be too much for an already inflamed damaged skin. Try this as a healing restorative. It is is probably the worlds cheapest shaving gel.
Recipe for linseed shaving gel
Ingredients:
100 g whole linseed (flaxseed) gold or bronze
1 litre of water
Method
Place in a saucepan for, bring to the boil and simmer very gently for about 30 minutes. Some linseed is more gloopy than others so if it looks like it’s going to be too thick add a little extra boiling water while it is still simmering. Remove from stove and strain off the thick gel with a sieve.
Use for shaving in usual way. Nothing could be purer. Store in the fridge for up to one week.
Linseed oil to moisturise
Try using a few drops of Flax Farm cold-pressed linseed after shaving as a moisturiser, it’s omega-3 is anti – inflammatory, aids healing and supports a healthy immune system so hopefully helps your skin stand up to the rigors of shaving.
